Y’all, this post has been a long time coming. Before I get into it, I want to start by saying thank you all for sticking through anything and everything I’ve been through during these past several years. First Lt Grey Creative, and now this. Don’t worry, Lt Grey is still my full-time job. I just couldn’t leave fashion totally behind!
So, alas, Magnolia Rifle was born.
If you’re new around here you might not know that I studied Fashion Marketing & Merchandising at SCAD. I loved it so much. But when I graduated, I couldn’t find a position that combined enough of my passions or talents into one… So I created Lt Grey, a full-service advertising agency founded in my hometown of Ocean City, Maryland.
Now that Lt Grey is almost a year old, I’ve had a revolution of sorts. If I was doing so much for other small retailers, (who I love, don’t worry!), why couldn’t I do this? What’s stopping us? Ultimately we had the advantage of a built-in marketing team, a professional photographer and videographer, and my fashion marketing background. Um, hello?!
Magnolia Rifle is collected and curated for the bohemian woman with a classic flair. She’s ahead on the trends, but savors the timeless staples in her wardrobe. Stumbling her way to the next milestone, she’s currently searching for her next creative project. She finds inspiration in the everyday, excitement in simplicity, and opportunity in adventure.
I’m excited to be scouring every inch of the internet and country to bring you an eclectic mix of clothing, jewelry, accessories, homegoods and gifts. I’m even in New York City right now attending NY NOW!
We will be launching August 28th! The excitement and panic is real right about now. I can’t wait though to see how everyone reacts to my vision. Sometimes that’s the best part! And to answer everyone’s first question, the LCC is not going anywhere. I may be sticking with 2-3 posts a week, but overall this blog is here to stay.
At the end of the day, do I need more to do and more on my plate? Probably not. But this makes me incredibly happy, so for now I am going to give it my all.
