Laurenfall_003I told you I had another great transitional outfit to share with you! What did you think of the first one? This is my girl Lauren, best friends since est. eighth grade. In fact, she modeled the first dress I ever made. (Don’t worry, those photos are long gone. It was bad.) You know how much of a trooper this girl is when she models a knit sweater and blanket scarf for me in the middle of July, it was approximately 95 degrees outside. Woof.

Anyway, to the outfit.. Don’t we all love our maxi dresses?! So effortless, comfortable but chic! This grey one is a great staple in any wardrobe. A little expert tip, when the temps cool way down, just add a sweater on top! It’ll instantly make the maxi look like a whole different piece. I specifically gravitate towards boxy, cropped, or oversized when it comes to this. It can’t be a fall/winter outfit without a little blanket scarf action, am I right? This is my trusty go-to plaid one, but I paired it with a leopard clutch to have a little fun with pattern mixing. After all, leopard is a neutral if you ask me!
