Recipe | Cast Iron Skillet Brussels Sprouts
  • 1 large bag of brussel sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons of EVOO
  • 2 strips thick cut bacon
  • 2 slices of prosciutto
  • 2 diced shallots
  • sprinkle of cheese (we used a parmesan blend)
  1. Pour olive oil into your cast iron skillet and heat at medium on the stovetop.
  2. Cut off the ends of your brussels and halve.
  3. Dice shallots (I prefer the smallest possible.)
  4. Cut bacon and prosciutto into small squares.
  5. Combine in skillet and cook until brussels are bright green. (approx. 10 minutes)
  6. Place skillet in oven at 350 for a little less than 10 minutes and sprinkle with cheese. This gives your dish a lovely brown and crispy aspect!
  7. Serve and enjoy!
