Who doesn’t love trying new beauty products?! Since you all loved the first post in this new series, I’m excited to carry on the new tradition. Today’s Beauty Encounters features a primer, smoothing eye concentrate, dry shampoo, and my new favorite lip/cheek balm. Have you heard of any of these products? Let’s see what I thought in this beauty review!
This is not a new to me product, just an absolute favorite out of my routine! I use this as my everyday primer. It is a lightweight gel lotion that evens out skin redness and tone while adding radiance. It even has a hint of shimmer in it, which is really nice! This product eases the application of foundation, allowing the use of less foundation while covering more skin.
As I’m sure you know after this review post, I love my Pixi beauty products! I’ve never been a big fan of cheek “stains,” mainly because they do just that — stain a part of my face and don’t blend evenly. This MultiBalm by Pixi is the best one I’ve tried yet! It is a 2-in-1 crème that’s easy to blend, and also looks great on both lips and cheeks! Baby Petal is the perfect everyday shade.
This product happened to be in my summer FabFitFun subscription box. (If you’re wondering about this subscription service make sure to check out my review post, complete with a discount code!) Let me start by saying that there’s a reason why this product won an Allure Best of Beauty award. This takes the residue out of my hair like no other dry shampoo! It also comes in versions for oily hair, or a non-aerosol option.
This is another FabFitFun item that I received for summer. I want to start by saying I have never used products like this, nor do I often use eye products in general. However, I will be adding them into my routine more often now! This is a moisturizing and smoothing eye cream with certified organic grape and carrot juices that are blended with essential fatty acids and Vitamins B5, C and P to hydrate for healthy, beautiful eyes. It is formulated with organic products, along with being completely cruelty free. For me, this was not a product that I saw an overnight difference from, but I do believe it will make a difference in the long run!
Have you tried any of these products for yourself? What about some of your latest favorite beauty products? Oh, and don’t forget to read the first post in this series, all about face makeup.
