Do you remember when Grace informed us on this Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay? After all of her praise I just had to give it a try. I spotted it at our local Whole Foods and I have to say, I kind of love the results! I’ve been using this DIY mask 2-3 times a week and I’m already seeing a difference.
Some major tips before you go home and make your own though, A.) Don’t wash this off in the shower! It’s supposed to be very thick, and I managed to clog our drain thinking I could take it off in the shower. I removed with a washcloth, after placing a paper towel on my lap. B.) Pulsating is good! I got so freaked out the first time I tried it because I could literally feel it doing this. Don’t forget, face masks are meant to bring your pores to the surface. My mom always told me, “It has to get worse for it to get better.” This is so true with your skin! My point here is that it’s highly possible that the day following your mask it might seem like you’ve broken out (at least I did).
I also thought about how cute would it be to do a girls-night-in and have each guest prepare this DIY in a mini mason jar for them to take home the leftovers?! I’m going to have to do that soon!
